NetConnect Systems is a teleconference provider, offering Internet managed telecommunication services to companies located in the Nordic countries, Germany, Austria and UK. (www.netconnect.com)
Being established in Norway and Sweden, the company decided in 2002 to increase their business in Denmark and Finland, and they turned to Branch in order to outsource their sales and marketing operations in these two Nordic markets.

 

At the same time, they hired Branch in Oslo, to be able to increase management within finance, accounting and internationalization. In Denmark, the co-operation between NetConnect and Branch started in January 2003, and after five months, NetConnect Systems could show profitable figures. In Finland, the sales and marketing activities started in June 2003, and by November 2003, the operation was on a break-even level. By working along with Branch, NetConnect Systems has established presence in two markets within a minimum of time, strong focus on sales and marketing, and at a low cost with high flexibility and a minimum of risk. To-day, NetConnect has established their own subsidiaries in both Denmark and Finland, however, since 2004 NetConnect has a ongoing cooperation with Branch in order to enter the markets in Austria, Germany and UK.

Branch has established Magenta in the German market and does everything a branch office would do. We adapt the Software to the German marked, add German news-sources, sell the product, do the invoicing and do the customer support. The focus is put on the sales activities and Magenta News has now more than 200 customers in the German marked, including “blue chips” like Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Post and Daimler Chrysler.

 

Offixo is a all-in-one system for small and mediumsized businesses. It is deliverd as an online service. The customer rents the software that is hosted on Offixos servers. No installations or future updates are required.The solution has modules for webmail, joint calendar, addressbook, CRM-system, task handeling, document sharing, project management, time registration, expense management, invoicing and much more. After doing a market research Branch started a joint venture with Offixo and opened a German subsidiary "Offixo Branch Germany". We translated and adapted the solution to the German market. We established contact to several partners (system integrators, system houses, IT sales and support centers) which act today as resellers in the German market. We also used our own sales staff for direct sales of the product.
