Branch was founded in Norway in 2002 by Stefan Marx, an experienced leader with more than 25 years in international business development, event management, and cross-border partnerships. He has held top management positions in both corporate and sports organizations, including as CEO of Branch Group and CEO of Holmenkollen Skifestival, responsible for world-class events such as the FIS Nordic World Cup and the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup. Stefan also serves on several boards, among them the Norwegian-German Chamber of Commerce, and in 2017 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. With a strong background in building networks across business, politics, and the public sector, he founded Branch to help organizations grow beyond borders.
